Great! It’s is an amazing school with a great support system from families and the PTA. Teachers are very communicative with parents and the STEM program helps the students grow and learn in different areas.

Definitely a diamond in the rough. We have an amazing community of families! Building up students through STEM, Music, Spanish, Reading Buddies, and PBIS. It is one of the smaller elementary schools, with great student to teacher ratios, few trailers and amazing opportunities for all students.

I love Huntley Hills. It is a fantastic place for our diverse community that is welcoming and supportive to all. Some of the statistics stated above are not even close to accurate.

I attended the school Fall Festival last weekend. It was packed with families and children of all ages having fun together. There was a pumpkin patch, bouncy houses and slides, pony rides, food, a cake walk and a great silent auction. I picked up a couple of great gifts for the holidays.

Huntley Hills is such an amazing place to be a part of. Our community is so diverse culturally and linguistically, as well as socio-economically. The school is a perfect salad bowl where everyone supports the kids and makes friends. HHES also has a robust and well-supported special education program as well as being STEM certified, Title 1, and a Montessori program in addition to having a fantastic team of traditional teachers and specials including Spanish, Technology, PE, Art, Music, Strings, Band. I absolutely love the staff and leadership. So happy to have at least 9 more great years ahead at Huntley Hills!

My kids love this school! The staff really cares for the kids and they work really hard to make sure the children not only learn, but have fun while doing it. The extra-curricular teachers are wonderful and I am very happy that my kids get PE 2x a week in addition to a daily recess. They also get Art, Music, Spanish, Technology, and STEM. It is a wonderful neighborhood school.

My son is finishing his Kindergarten year in the Montessori program. The Principal Dr. Ford is doing a great job recruiting teachers. The kids now take Spanish once a week and the Art and Music teachers are very invested int heir programs. The music teacher is even putting on the Lion King this year. While the facility itself is run down, if you are at the school enough you can tell that Dr. Ford and the PTA are trying hard to update it and work with what the county is leaving them with.

I have lived in this neighborhood for over 18 years. My children attended Huntley Hills and I would not change a thing about our experience. Every principal has been caring and involved, but none so much as the current principal, Dr. Angela Leissa. The Montessori program gives options for a students education that other schools cannot begin to match. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!

Overall, I have been very impressed with this school. We are not in district, and we send two children to the Montessori program. Both of our children are performing well above their age group. The teachers are sensitive to their students' needs and work hard to make sure that every student succeeds. The faculty and staff are responsive to parental concerns. It is one of the best-kept secrets in DeKalb County.

Our daughter is in the montessouri program and is doing excellent. She begins 1st grade this fall and already has math, music, and reading skills prior to starting. We are impressed with how organized this school is. No complaints.
