Academic is great, Teacher quality is high, Principal Mr. King puts students needs fiirst, really helped us with meeting our kids needs. We felt the sports program was a challenge, we moved here because of a job transfer and the Athletic Director wanted to know if we were the biological parents and we felt accused of moving here because of the softball team, both softball coaches would not let my dauther try out for pitching, not even giving a kid a chance to try really hurts the self esteem, the Cheer coaches behavior is also pretty hurtful again tears a kids self esteem apart, we had to work extra hard to let both our girls know sometimes they will run into people that are mean and unfair and we just have to hang in their and not let them tear you down, by Crater coaches not give kids a chance you will see a downward trend in the Sports program.

There is no communication between office staff teachers and parents I have gone to the school 6 times this year with issues that my child if dealing with and have been given the same response each time" theres nothing we can do you child will fail and be a 6 year high school student" the staff should care weather a child fails.I took both of my children out of this school

I am a senior this year and I only have a couple days left until I graduate. But the renaissance academy at crater high is the most amazing and spectacular school ever. Because of all the amazing staff I have been helped in maintaining a 4.05 gpa. Amazing school.
