    This school has been great for our children. We love the teachers and staff. Our kids enjoy school and have been academically successful. There are high expectations for both behavior and academics, which we support fully.

    Bland Elementary has been great for our children. Three have graduated and two on the way. We highly recommend this school district.

    This school district is very closed. If you aren't from the area or someone's buddy or you don't come from what they consider a "family"(single parents be wary), you will not fit in here. I know this seems blunt but having dealt with this district for over 7 years(and can't afford private), I've seen their treatment of these students over and over. They disregard the students that aren't in the groups above even if they are good students and try to get involved. I've experienced this treatment firsthand and I've seen the affect it has on the kids. I wouldn't recommend this district to anyone. There are much better choices, watch the school district lines closely.
