    With 2 children at this school (one just completed 5th grade and one is going into 1st) I could not be happier. It is a great environment that makes sure children get the extra help they need or get the extra challenge they need. While I have some teachers that I like more than others the leadership is excellent. The principal takes parent feedback and is very open to discussing parent concerns.

    This school is going downhill. The principal doesn't solicit parent communication about changes to policies. She also doesn't offer in-classroom tours for new families. Many teachers are leaving. Families moving into the district are open enrolling into Hiawatha elementary. I've heard great things about their principal.

    I have had SUCH a positive experience with the school & staff at Viola Gibson! They have exceeded my expectations.

    Just bought a house in this area, and so excited for my daughter to start K this fall!! I've heard great things about Viola Gibson!!!
