What a fantastic crew they have! Very much hands-on with every student and making everyone feel welcome. The farm animals, the gardening, the outdoor activities and so much more.. Can't imagine a better place for my son to learn and grow.

I have 2 kids at the school and we’ve been here three years and never want to leave! My girls are so excited about learning and learn they do!! They get a variety of subjects and the Montessori way of learning is better than anything I’ve ever experienced. They learn in so many different ways. I love so much that the classroom is a zone of discovery and not the torture I endured - of sitting at desks all day listening to one teacher drone on.I love the social aspect and family feel. The sports from tennis to soccer, yoga and animal care. The attention is truly on the individual and everyone is seen and heard.I can’t say enough good things and am always happy to speak to anyone about this school!!

We have been so happy with our DMA experience! It was our first Montessori experience and we cannot recommend them enough. The school environment, administrators and staff are incredible.

Where to start ;) I love DMA! Both of our kids (and my friends kids) are attending this awesome school (hidden gem)! We love driving up every morning to a clean and well kept campus. School is in a very safe - peaceful and private setting nestled between the horse farms, but in the middle of Scottsdale/North Phoenix area (you would never know it’s there). We love all the staff, but our kids teachers Ms. Aparna and Ms. Mirtha are just wonderful genuine people who enjoy teaching. We love that the school (on a regular)communicates and invites all the parents and alumni for events! We are so excited for the new events and appreciate everything they do! Def a huge fan!

We have been going to Dynamite Montessori for over a year now. Everyone here is friendly and supportive. My son’s primary class lead teacher Ms. Tina is beyond awesome. She epitomizes the essence of Montessori philosophy/method. It is extremely rare to have a teacher this invested and methodical towards the development of children. We are always amazed at how far my son has come along since we transferred him to this school. It’s been a great pleasure to be part of this community and a blessing to have Ms. Tina.

My kid (4Y) has been in Ms Tina’s class for a year. We felt extremely lucky that my kid is in her classroom. Ms Tina works so hard and truly care about every student. I have never seen a pre-K teacher who is so devoted to her teaching job. We usually ask for her suggestions about how to guide and teach kid at home by using great strategies with caring attitudes, like she always does in her classroom. She cares not only kids but also parents!! I love collaborating with her. Appreciate her support and what she has done for us!

This is in response to the 1 star review below:Hi,As we stated in our meeting with you, we are sorry we had to dismiss your child from our school due to his disruptive behavior within our learning environment. Your son had been enrolled in Ms. Tina’s class since January 2022. During this time, you never expressed any concerns regarding our school, teachers, or educational program. Additionally, you tried to re-enroll for the upcoming school year. Ms. Tina is our Primary 1 teacher and has been with our school for over 20 years. She is still employed here. Ms. Tina worked extensively with your son, documented all of her concerns, and advised you of them during springtime parent teacher conferences. Additionally, we tried to meet with you multiple times in the summer to discuss our observations but you canceled before each meeting. Therefore we had no opportunity to have an open dialogue or conversation to work through the issues before the new school year began. We find it very unfortunate that you’ve chosen to make public negative comments about our school and teachers only after your son has been dismissed from our program. We want nothing but the best for him and all of our students but we were unable to accommodate him without compromising the experience of the other children in the class.Sincerely, DMA Admin Team `

Our family has enjoyed a very positive experience at Dynamite Montessori. The teachers are kind and demonstrate sincere love for the children they guide. Paula is wonderful and supportive.

The school takes a very down to earth approach to early development of a child. They are not hightech like some other fancy schools, but does what is necessary for the kids early development. Ms Jenny and Ms Raja, are so amazing as mentors to these young kids. They take care of the kids like second parents. Also, One thing I have noticed is that the teachers in here are here for the kids not their personal gain. Ms Paula, the owner of this place is such a kind human. Extremely happy my daughter is in this place.

This school is a great one. My child started with Ms. Jenny in the toddler's class. She is a very passionate and loving teacher. She believes in making kids independent from the very beginning. Ms. Tina is a great teacher. She is very good in instilling discipline in kids and works with kids all the time. I always admire passion of Ms. Paula towards the school. She is a great human being. We love this school.

I am writing this review as an update - 19 years later - to attest to the quality of education provided by this school. My younger self was neither the most studious nor the most ambitious individual, but this school provided the most life changing foundation for my educational experience thus far. I am currently attending a Top-10 business school in the Netherlands, pursuing an MBA at the age of 22 - if this doesn't speak volumes to the incredible quality of education provided by this school, then I'm not sure what would. Thank you for everything, Dynamite Montessori!

My son had been attending DM since October 2016 and we are more than pleased with all the goals he had reached. He used to attend a public preschool where he played all day long, now, in just 7 months he began reading and his math skills improved. He's interested in how to create a family garden to grow up our veggies taking as a model the garden they had been growing at DM. When you walk into the classrooms you are captivated for works that help the children to deal with life skills as cooking, polishing, sewing buttons, or even how to mop and swept. All the teachers and assistants know all the children and help them know how important they are, they really create an atmosphere of loving and caring. All the children learn, and are willing always, to help other friends. There's no words to thank enough Ms. Deepali, Ms. Maria and Ms. Tina, they are wonderful not just as teachers. They learn the nature of each children, as unique, to maximize their development, departing from integrity, compassion and respect. I personally had seen Ms. Paula on the lovely and polite way she treats each one of the students, and their parents, at the school and I couldn't be more amazed, you can really feel the school like home. DM is awesome! Thanks, thanks, many thanks, it is the best place if you want your child to be successful not just as a student, but as a person.

The first time I toured DM I fell in love with the place. The school wonderful accreditation, great teachers but the place just felt like the right for our children to go to. Fast forward one year and we could not be happier! We love, love, love Paula and her hands on approach and the teachers. They truly understand children and how to instil a love of learning. Love Dynamite Montessori and the staff.

My children continues to thrive in Dynamite Montessori School. They started in primary and are now in elementary. They have become motivated self-directed learners and are constantly pursuing an interest (knowledge or skill) on their own, just because. This is more evident with my oldest who is about to complete his 2nd three- year cycle at DMS. My other child is at the beginning of his 2nd cycle and is blossoming the way my oldest did. They love their teachers and knows all the other teachers and staff. I know they feel safe and respected.Ms Aparna/Ms. Thania’s classroom is not homework, worksheets and tests driven (still, my oldest did really well on his recent Cog AT and Stanford Tests). There are plenty of hands-on materials, researches, projects and public presentations. Students are trained to solve problems and resolve conflicts. Diversity and acceptance are promoted with the multi-cultural holiday celebrations. Spanish immersion is whole day.Plenty of specials: pets/animals, student gardens, recorder/piano/dance, tennis/soccer/archery, technology class, cooking lessons, arts/crafts, hiking, field trips, science fair, etc. Did I mention free unstructured playtime is provided & highly encouraged?I highly recommend Dynamite Montessori School if you are looking for a whole-child school. If your child is about to graduate in Kindergarten, do look into the elementary program. My oldest insisted in joining elementary back when he was in K and we are glad we listened. Warning: your little autodidacts may become very busy even after school, not exactly with homework but with their own pursuits.

Our 2-almost-3-year-old daughter has been in Ms. Mirtha's Spanish Immersion toddler class since they started the new program in August '16. She goes 3 full days per week. Every day, when we tell her we are leaving for school she tells us, "I so 'cited! I'm so happy." Ms. Mirtha and her assistant, Ms. Lourdes, are kind, loving, firm, and respectful. They make sure to greet each child by asking if the child wants a hug - the answer is usually, "Yes." Lessons are given in both English amd Spanish, and always with care toward each child's involvement. The teachers always talk with all parents and welcome parents to sit in at any time. There are also regular events (usually around holidays) where parents are encouraged to come and spend time getting involved in both the classroom and greater school communities. Plus, our daughter is integrating Spanish into her daily vocabulary, about once a week she surprises us with a new Spanish word ("Are these my pantalones?" "Do we have agua?" "Put my toy allí!") One of the things that most impressed me initially was that although my daughter was in the toddler class ALL the teachers, including Elementary, knew her by name and sight during week one. That seems to be the case with every child. The whole Dynamite staff, including the director, Paula, really works to create an environment that fosters care for everyone's personal well-being and a great love of learning. In addition to all this they have live animals with whom they spend time daily, a garden, a number of large play areas that encourage different skills, and myriad activities available through outside professionals (jiu jitsu, gymnastics, music, sports skills, etc.). And both toddler classes potty train! I really could keep going on about how great this school is, but I strongly recommend that if you're shopping for schools in the area you stop in at Dynamite and see for yourself.

Our child is now in the upper elementary at DM and has been there since the age of three. It's fair to say that over the last six and a half years he has spent more conscious hours there during the week than at home. It's also fair to say that (in large part) because of Ms. Paula and all of the staff, past and present, who nurtured him along the way he is an inquisitive, bright, caring, thinking, reasoning, and happy child. To say that he has thrived at DM is a gross understatement: he loves to learn, he loves to read, and he loves to put his newfound knowledge to work. The teachers have all encouraged him to learn at his own pace, and are always accessible for a quick chat before or after school hours. And the "extras"--learning Spanish, taking a computer class, opportunities for singing and dance, frequent field/hiking trips and outdoor opportunities, taking care of the animals and plants--all help him explore opportunities he may not get at other local schools. We are thrilled and lucky that DM was nearby when we moved to Phoenix, and will remain eternally grateful for the work they've put into our boy.

We just started going to this school over a month ago and it has been nothing short of amazing! We came from another Montessori school and had just moved in the area. Even though Dynamite was full, Paula gave one of her teachers more hours just to make space for my two kids. We liked our old school but our children are flourishing even more here! They provide free activites that other Montessori schools do not, like Spanish, Soccer, and Music. They are on a huge campus that provides the kids with so many options to learn and play! Most of all, the teachers truly seem to care about the children and communicate well with parents. At our old Montessori school, we talked to the directress maybe once in 3 years. But we talk to Paula almost every time we come in. I love that this school goes back to Montessori basics and really focuses on the individual child. We could not be happier!
