Wonderful school! Really impressed by their support of my youngest with ADHD. My oldest has some amazing teachers as well. Art program is top notch.

Our experience at Green Meadow school is exceptional! We have five school age children ages 8, 12, 15, 17, and our oldest is 19 ( about to complete his freshman year at college). Our youngest child is currently attending and is thriving. The rest currently attend a local private school where my wife is a teacher. We have the option to enroll him with his siblings, but GM has truly been a great school for him across the board.

I have a special needs child at Green Meadow and the staff has been very helpful and caring toward my child. I talk with the staff regularly and they've been very accommodating.

I have two children who have both attended this school, and my reviews based on their experiences are very different, because they are very different children with different personalities, and needs. My daughter is a very outgoing, pleasant kid who loves to learn and really enjoys school. She wants to do well, and she is an easy kid to have in class. Her time at Green Meadow was good. She made friends and did quite well academically.My son does not enjoy school inherently, and he has a very hard time sitting still for long periods of time and paying attention. I was very up front about this with the school. I let them know in his previous school, he had a stand up desk with a kick plate that helped immensely. They told me that would not be available for him at Green Meadow, even though I offered to purchase it myself. Every teacher he had was made aware that he is a kid that needs to move and has a ton of energy. Still, every teacher would immediately take away his recess any time he had a consequence for any behavior issue. I asked the teachers to think of something else as a consequence so that he could have that chance to get his energy out - which only helps everyone. They never listened to me. Principal Garab was totally unhelpful. He claimed this was really their only option as a consequence. Very frequently, my high energy son was made to sit instead of getting his energy out, which did nothing but ensure that he would continue to dislike school more and more. Every morning, my child would beg me not to take him to "prison" again.I am not and have never said that he should not have had consequences for poor behavior, he absolutely should. However, given the credentials of the school staff and administration, you would expect the school to be better equipped with other options for consequences that don't involve making kids with high energy suffer further by not being able to run and get some energy out in the brief period allowed. When my son graduated fifth grade it was such a relief to know he would not suffer at Green Meadow any longer. No parent wants to feel like they're sending their child to a place where they feel imprisoned. I wanted nothing more than for elementary school to be a place where he loved going, and learned to love learning. That is not at all what Green Meadow offers for kids who need to move. The school is fine as long as your child is a low energy student who enjoys learning. Otherwise, I would avoid this place.

This school is amazing. When they see there is a student that needs extra help, they don't hesitate to involve the parents and try to fix the issues.

All three of my kids currently attend Green Meadow. The school is great and we are very happy there. As with any school, some teachers are better than others, but all three of our kids have had a great experience.

Total lack of communication between parents and school. They do not meet the needs of special needs kids have put my child down numerous times concerning their disability. Very sad
