    Since NCSD #1 is an open enrollment district, our family look at many schools when our oldest son was headed to kindergarten. While each school's unique focus intrigued us, we ultimately landed on Southridge. Our school family has become an extension of our own and we are very pleased with the academic and social approach the curriculum and teachers take. I'm surprised and disappointed in this school's ranking on this site and can't recommend this school enough.

    The teachers and staff are great and care about the kids! They push the kids to be great. I wish they offered a few more clubs.

    My husband and I have had three kids in this school, which they attended 3rd, 2nd, and Kindergarten here. Overall this is the best school in Casper. The teachers teach the kids everything they have to know in school. The students there were very nice to me and my kids. This school was the best education my kids have ever receive.

    I am shocked at the rating Great Schools in now giving this school! This is by far the best school my son has attended, and their PAWS tests and academic aptitude tests reflect this. The classes are small, and the teachers are attentive. The principal gets there early, and stays late...he even knows everyone by name! I would recommend this school to anyone in Casper, or anyone who is moving to Casper. Southridge is one of the only reasons we will not move out of town!
