As a military family, our kids have found a loving place to call home. They get any extra help they need, develop great relationships with their teachers and have a ton of after school activities to keep them safe and busy! Such a great place... we've never been a part of such a wonderful school in our military travels.

Horrible! They accept bullying and brush it under the rug. Horrible administration. If you do not agree with what they are doing the Diocese calls you and threatens you. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

I would recommend this school without hesitation. Due to many military moves this is the 5th school my oldest has attended. I would rate this as the most academically challenging by far. We moved mid year and our transition was seamless. Safe and welcoming environment.

A great school for military families! We moved here from GA and the teachers at Augustinian did such a great job and put in extra time after school with my kids to make sure they were where they needed to be academically. A very family friendly environment that has allowed my children to thrive spiritually, socially and academically. Best school we've been to in the 5 states we've lived in.

We have had the opportunity to live in both rural & suburban areas and experience schools in both areas. This is by far the best school our children have attended. This is their 3rd year at Augustinian & every day I am reminded in some way what makes this school so wonderful. It is safe, the teachers are passionate & caring, they believe in their students & help them believe in themselves, the entire school staff knows every student & shows interest in their individual growth. Furthermore, Augustinian has strong teacher support; families actively engaged, strong social & emotional student growth & a school-wide climate of high expectations. The school has a diverse student body and is a wonderful mix of military and local families. All of this AND they offer the everything you find in a top rated public school- excellence in academics, enrichment activities, sports, special education, etc. This should be a first stop for any family looking for a great Prek-8th grade school for their family.

WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL!! It is so nice to have all of my kids in the same school, middle school and elementary. They even have Pre-K. The teachers are fantastic, my kids have learned so much- the whole school knows every child. Even the lunch lady knew it was my son's birthday the other day. If you live in Fort Drum or Carthage you have to check out this school!

Augustinian Academy is such a wonderful school! My children are so happy and confident there. The staff knows all the children by name! I feel very safe leaving them there for the day. I am particularly pleased with the middle school (5th-8th) grade program. The kids switch classes and have sports programs, but in a smaller, safer environment. Respect and kindness are definitely important in this school. I would highly recommend taking a tour of this school before making any decisions for your child's education.

My children attended CAA for 2 years during our time stationed at Fort Drum, NY. The teachers are excellent with advanced teaching degrees and the latest techniques our children excelled; we experienced 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th grades during our time enrolled at the school. All the staff is enthusiastic about learning; from the P.E. teacher to the Cafeteria Staff a family couldn't ask for better people. Education isn't just textbooks; CAA takes learning to the community with walking field trips, extra curricular activities like band, chorus and parades. Despite the small detail that we are not Catholic my two boys still loved school, loved that they learned about God in school, loved the close friendships they formed and loved their work. My children still beg to move back to NY so they can return to Sister Annunciata's school.

From the moment my child started attending the Augustinian Academy I have been nothing but happy. Your child will not fall in the cracks here and most of the facility know every single child's name. Along with a amazing parent teacher involvement I would say its the best school in the area.

My daughter attended Augustinian Academy for kindergarten. We had a wonderful experience at the school. Academically, my daughter was well prepared to enter first grade at a rigorous school in another state. We are a military family and the school was very welcoming and made an effort to accommodate the special needs of military families. Augustinian has a nurturing environment - e.g., when my daughter's bus was extremely late one day, I called the front office. Even though it was almost 5pm, there was still someone available to answer the phone. She gave me the number to the transportation department and then called back a little later to make sure my daughter made it home safely. The principal is highly visible and involved which also adds to the school's atmosphere. We cannot say enough about Augustinian!
