I had a wonderful experience with Alma Scharder. I am not sure about the parent who gave the school a two-star rating. The secretary is extremely calm and professional. The administration is extremely child-centered. If the principal is concerned with "reputation," than the principal can rest easy as the school's reputation is excellent. My child thrived at Alma Schrader. It never seemed as if she was "one of the herd." The staff seems to really know the children...and their families. Can't say enough good about this school.

The teaching staff is above average with some exceptional teachers. The administrative staff is much more concerned with the schools reputation than student safety. The nurse is very unprofessional with the students, the secretary is extremely difficult to deal with and the principal is only concerned about image. Thankfully the teaching staff is above average.

Can't say enough positive about this school. They communicate thoroughly with parents about what's going on from the classroom to the entire school. They have character lessons for the entire school. They give them opportunities to enhance their education (IE: STEAM, physical fitness) outside of school. It is obvious that the leadership in place does not micromanage, and instead allows teachers to do their jobs. Teachers seem to have job satisfaction, as well as administrators and staff. Hats off to Alma Schrader!

Alma Schrader is top notch with great teachers and staff. Hopefully the rest of the public school system will be this enjoyable for my kids.

The teacher's are the best and care a lot about each student. My child is alway excited to go to school because of the his teacher. She is the best!!

Alma Schrader Elementary School has been an amazing experience for all three of my children! From the administration, to the faculty, to the other parents....everyone is involved and they work together to make Alma Schrader a great educational facility and environment for our children.

The outstanding teachers and staff. Alma Schrader has becomes my son's home away from home, a place where he feels safe and happy. That definitely makes a child WANT to go to school and learn. I feel that my child is extremely lucky to attend such a wonderful elementary school.
