This is the type of environment where if you don't toe the line, they will make sure you don't stay. Teachers do not supply a syllabus for the school year and only supply parents with a broad look at what is happening within their classroom. If your child is having difficulty it is the fault of the student and not the responsibility of the teacher to assist with understanding. Or better yet they blame the parents. There are no textbooks to reference when your child needs assistance but only ripped out pages from a workbook. They scream that kids should have less screen time but make sure that all at home work be completed via apps and Google classroom. They give homework but don't call it homework. And the best part of it all is that the administration will share private conversations from one parent with other parents.

Awesome! it is a great school. Parent's involvement is key. A lot of fun projects and reading activities promoted through the school's library. Staff is friendly and teachers are receptive and on point. Open communication. Always ready to improve what is needed

Horrible. Unwilling to do anything extra especially if your child didn't understand something taught. No problem asking for money and donations though. Staff is unfriendly and acts as though you are an inconvenience. Same goes for the teacher we had! Stay away unless you fit the "I'm better than you mold..." also parent pick up is a disorganized mess with no real "check" to see where and what car a child is getting into, very unsafe! No security or comfort was felt from the staff, they didn't care to check, unreal!

I LOVE this school~ Mr Hook is a great principal, my daughter is now in middle school but was Oasis elementary for 5 years. All the teachers were phenomenal, they care about your child and they want your child to succeed. It was so sad to leave and go to middle school because we were so lucky to have such a wonderful experience. I like to be involved in school and you can go and visit and help out how many times you want . You can go for lunch with your child anytime you want. I couldnt recommend Oasis elementary enough.

With the exception of one teacher we did not care for we have been happy with all others. Mr. Hook is wildly popular with the students. Our two sons are happy with Oasis. The faculty and other parents seem motivated and pleased with this school. The buildings and school grounds are clean and well maintained. Both of our sons are getting good grades. I had my Wife and two sons watch the documentary Waiting for Superman. We are very fortunate indeed. Gary

We are new to this school but are finding out quickly that it absolutely lives up to it's wonderful reputation. Couldn't be happier with the teachers, principal and curriculum :)
