This school is absolutely awful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless it's a last resort. This school is a safety hazard to students and teachers, during my time here I witnessed about 10 fights that 90% of them when non-seriously disciplined. It also has very little mental health services for students, some students with serious problems didn't get the care they needed, the school counsellor is a rude person and isn't recommend. If you have any serious problems the school will contact home, and make it even more dangerous for some students living in abusive homes. Ransom middle school also does very very little about harassment, bullying, and assault. During my time at this school I was called names, slurs, and even physically assaulted because of how I dressed (none of these circumstances went noticed.) This is not a safe Environment for students with disabilities either, ransom middle school doesn't give students the accommodations they need, and some teachers don't even follow themThis school is awful and I'm sure other students agree, I left this school last year for 7th grade and I'm never coming back. 0/10 would not recommend.

I went here for 6th grade. IT'S HORRIBLE. Two teachers at this school were rude and embarrassed me in front of the whole class. I only made 2 real friends at this school. The kids here have no respect for each other. This is supposed to be a bully free school but they need to work on it ALOT MORE. The kids here Cuss and fight. I do NOT recommend taking your child to this school.

My grand kids school is Ransom Middle School. As a grandparent of two kids who are currently going to Ransom, we are totally impressed on how the school is operating. The teachers and all staff are doing a great professional job and are appreciated very much.

Great school program for student with handicaps. The bands and sports teams are great. Chorus is a poor program, very disorganized and uses volunteers off the street who scream at students and act crazy. Academic teachers are all pretty good, some are great.

I transferred my son from a private school to ransom, and I have never been happier. So far the teachers are caring, guidance counselor are there to answer questions, and the PTA is very involved. Because of the support I have received, I have not had to deal with the principal.

Ransom is an excellent school for students who want to learn and parents who support them. It is easily the top middle school in the district. Of course, some students come to school to cause trouble and disrupt the learning environment, and some parents are not involved in their children's education and do not want to be bothered. Ransom works hard to turn these populations around and help them, but ultimately will not let them interfere with the education of those who want to learn.

I believe that this school is not th best enviroment for a kid to be taught in. The school a prep school and many children are singled out . There are many cliques . It also is over crowed.
