Central Catholic was a HORRIBLE experience for me and many others alike. For example, I had a close friend here who suffered issues with epilepsy, and one random day in math class, other (17 year old students) purposely provoked her to have a seizure. This kid had been known to be frequently in and out of hospital stays, and no one seemed to recognize what harm they were doing.Kids with mental handicaps are not treated with basic human respect, teachers play favorites with enforcing the dress code, and god forbid if your child identifies as lgbtq+. Socially they will be outcasted, by faculty and students alike.I have never been happier transferring from a school. Cannot stress enough how toxic of an environment this was for me.

I graduated from Central about 10 years. Central did a great job preparing me for both undergrad and professional schools. While Central may not have as many course options as some of the large public schools, I didn't miss a beat in college and had a good chunk of college credit through AP classes. There is also something to say about knowing all your classmates rather than never knowing some people you go to school with. I still talk to my central friends on a regular basis even though we are all living in different cities across the country. I would send my kids there in a second, no matter which school district I live in.
