I was a student at this school and it was BAD. My friends kept getting into ISS for stuff they didn't even do. and there are only 4 good teachers the rest for jerks. The others don't care about us and are there to get paid. they told me I was bullying them for saying I didn't like a person and just ignored them. I get to choose who I like or not. That is not bullying. (seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce, that is the definition) I'm sick of that school and am glad to be in middle school. I never want to go back there again and do NOT send your kid there. they may have good teaching but that's only for the good teachers. the bad ones yell at the kids and the principal is horrible. unless you want your kid to suffer I suggest you don't send them there. Goodbye.

We have been part of this school for 13 years. We have gained a lot of relationships with staff as well as done a lot of volunteering. I have personally seen this school go substantially downhill. I worry that with the current principal, the school will eventually close. Teachers are leaving to find other jobs. Parents are taking their children out to find a better school. It’s disappointing and sad to see how much it has changed for the worse. I have expressed my concerns with the school district and I hope it is taken seriously. It’s a very unfortunate situation. It’s a sad environment and just so very different. Overall, I am giving it a 2. Only because it wasn’t always so terrible and I am hopeful something will change. I would have to say it is a current 1. I would never currently send my children here or recommend it to anyone.

Terrible School. Mr Zamarripa is the principal 2013 school year. Mr Cash is my sons 5th work was under par and would not be accepted. I called the teacher and he declined to give me further instruction on how to do the assignment correctly during a window where grades could be reviewed. The teacher declined to give my child any further instruction stating he had already told the class what to do. Mr Cash reported my son should have consequences for not doing a good assignment, and getting a zero would be the result. Very punitive. Mr Zamarripa met only to state he would support whatever the teacher said. This, I feel is very weak leadership. Mr.Zamarripa must just want to be "buddies" with his staff. And this type of pleaser personaility is a great way of not listening. Unfortunately Ive now spoken with 2 other moms who pulled their children out of Washington. We had an advocate attend the meeting and her advice was to avoid this school. She's had a lot of experience with them. Washington is inflexible and I feel bad for my child for subjecting him to this school.
