The best school in Moore County provides excellent academic options with Sandhill Community College to prepare students for higher education with great school staffs and parents and communit support!

I have one soon to be two sons who attend school at Union Pines. There is no other high school in Moore Co that I’d rather have my children attend. Great school all around!

I have 2 children at Union Pines and I love it! We specifically chose to live in our home because of the schools and I’m very happy with that decision! I’m sad to see the area grow so fast and I am hoping it doesn’t change the quality of the schools.

Based on my kids’ opinions, this is a decent school. Definitely a step up from Crain’s Creek for them. Usually the office staff is not very approachable. Some of the teachers are easy to get in touch with and respond relatively quickly. I would suggest training in not being biased against students, as one experience one of my children had here clearly showed the nursing teacher’s preference over certain students.

I am a freshman at Union Pines and I would say this school is very rascist, homophobic, and slightly sexist. Not that the teachers are this way, most of my teachers have been good, but the students are not.

I didn't like the expirecebullying was terrible and teachers don't help as MUCH as they should

I was so disappointed when my child graduated from this school. When preparing to take a college entrance test, I realized she did not know a noun from a verb. She was in all honors classes in high school, and graduated with a very high grade point average, but she was severely lacking in skills and knowledge. Shame on Union Pines. A student should not be allowed in honors classes without proof that they know the basics first. My child was no where near ready for college when she graduated from this school.

If your son or daughter plays an instrument than this is the school for them! The band is truly outstanding, winning many accolades and competitions. There are so many programs, clubs and activities to choose from, that every student can find an interest here!
