Bullying is a serious issue in this school if you don't have the right last name. Teachers and even an administrator liked and praised fb posts by a parent that was posted to alienate and harass multiple students. They don't enforce dress code and most other rules in the handbook. Drugs and drinking are a huge issue not just using but dealing their own prescriptions. During lunch kids leave campus to smoke or vap in the restrooms. This school doesn't even pretend to be equal or fair, it is all about who your parents are.

Cambridge High School is a school that has seen a lot of changes in the few years that I have been teaching here. I feel as though we are moving in the right direction with student involvement and respect of ALL extracurriculars and sports and with the variety of new and skilled teachers being employed in the district, new ideas and better teaching strategies are being put into place. Of course every school can improve... I would like to see more even funding of the extracurriculars (music, theater, etc.) and the sports. While funding and budget cuts are everywhere, the community and administration should consider the activities that truly are growing in the right direction. In the end, do I enjoy teaching here? Yes... students are great and stress level is low!
