- Submitted by parent on August 18, 2013My child went at Calhoun Elementary from PreK to 2nd grade. We loved the principal, Mrs. Buford. After my child being there for only 2weeks, she started greeting him by first and last name at car drop off and pick up. I noticed she did this for each child as the walk in the hallway, at car drop off and pick up. That was very special to me and made me feel she knew the children. I never encountered any problems with any of the teachers. My child's teachers were all very good with his learning disability.
