We moved to Caldwell last year from Fort Bend County, and my kids LOVE this school. Our shy, anxious son has come out of his shell. Our daughter is friends with everyone. This is the first school ever where my kids are actually learning and having great social interactions. HIGHLY recommend.

I've taught at Caldwell as a long term substitute and as an after school care tutor. It has an incredibly dedicated group of teachers and administration. What is especially unique about Caldwell is their dual language program which brings together all kinds of children and bridges cultural divides within the neighborhood. My husband and I plan to send our son to Caldwell as soon as he is old enough so he can attend the dual language program!

I have had 4 kids come through this school with all different learning abilities. I must say that I am pretty proud of the school and the teachers. My oldest just graduated high school and I have seen its changes through the years. I loved Mrs Gee and Mrs Collins but must say Principal Self is a funny and caring person. Even why I was very partial to the two principals before who knew my oldest two kids and had huge shoes to fill. He helped my younger daughter get help when she needed it and was quick to address our concerns. Sometimes it's not the teacher alone but the personalities that keep kids from being able to thrive to their fullest potential. He made a class switch for my daughter and she flourished. Thank you principal Self and counselors. She is now in her first year of middle school but I have a 4th grader still with you. I know he is in good hands!

This school used to be a great school. All of the teachers were nice and pushed their students academically, the parents loved to volunteer, and the principal was constantly walking around the school making sure all of the teachers were doing their best. The dual language program was also very successful. Then, the people who kept everything in check, being the leaders of the PTO, etc. left, and everything went out of whack. Soon, no one was working together, and the school started to run itself poorly. It's pretty sad.

This school may be the worst school which we ever have attended. I moved like other moms in order to get away from this school. They are really uncaring out kids, and keep saying lies.
