- Submitted by parent on March 08, 2022The teachers at this school are very knowledgeable regarding their subject area, are caring and positive. Overall, the student behavior is good, with very few serious discipline incidents. My children graduated from this high school and were prepared for careers in engineering and medicine, performing well in college coursework. The number of dual-credit college courses available to TCHS students is impressive for a school this size. The opportunities for success are there if students want to access them.
- Submitted by parent on February 15, 2020There is a lack of enthusiasm for learning in general throughout the school among the teachers. Most days, the students sit around on their phones and get about 10 minutes of work done in each class.
- Submitted by other on April 28, 2014My school serves the exact same lunch menu every two weeks. Not only is is distasteful, but the portions served do not meet up with the required portions according to the National School Lunch Program. Elementary age children get the same portions as do the high school students. The students in high school are required to pay around $2 for a meal at the school, but if they just wait, they could pay the same price at McDonalds for 3x the serving size, providing a more filling meal.
