This school has wrecked my daughters future education. She was expelled for a first time drug offense as a 14 yr old girl in her freshman year. The school board refused to work with us when we tried to remove her from the school. They insisted on expelling her despite multiple recommendations by the community, teachers, and the principal/superintendent of the school not to expel her. We have not been able to continue her education due to all schools refusing us because of the expulsion. This school was the worst decision we have ever made.

I am currently a student at Butternut high school. This school is so full of hate and malice that I can not stand it! Kids are always being rude and or putting others down. Half the kids in the highschool don't want to show up because we feel this school isn't worth it. The only reason I feel many of us are in that school is because of the scholarship money, otherwise I wouldn't be there at all. We need a new principal and new teachers who will prep us for college. However not all the teachers are bad many are good at what they teach. Yet if you ask any student we would all say THIS SCHOOL NEEDS HELP!!! (Mentally that is, oh and morally and fundamentally.)
