My daughters have both been coming here for almost a year and a half so I have experience with many of the teachers. I like that they have an email system so they can send you pictures and keep in better contact about activities, closings, etc. They celebrate holidays, like Mother's Day and Father's Day with family activities and do a Holiday performance where the kids sing, which is really cute. My girls have really blossomed and have responded really well to the curriculum and they really enjoy going to this school. Most of the teachers are caring and show their care to the students, and all of the teachers/aids that my girls have had have been wonderful. I have had a few issues that I went to the teachers and/or the administration about that were addressed immediately and adequately. There are one or two other teachers that I have observed showing impatience toward some of the (seemingly) more difficult and overactive students, and made me think that they either aren't getting the support they need, or they are just burned out. There was also some teacher turnover and teacher reassignment that happened without much notice which was somewhat disruptive to my kids. Overall, I would recommend Childway, Burtonsville, but I would vet the specific teacher being assigned for your child before enrolling to make sure that the teacher wasn't burned out.

The staff and management at CHILDWAY are honest and caring. They go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the safety and care of the children they serve. I love to hear my children come home and rave about how great their day was. At times it is hard to get them to leave. I have had children attend from infancy through the KG level. Ms. Murdess is an excellent KG teacher who is professionally gifted at what she does. My hat goes off to her for her dedication to the children and their quest for learning. She helped my children excel in learning and they all loved her dearly.

Initially, We were skeptical to put my 2 years old son in daycare. But Ms Bushra's ( one of 2's teacher in Childway ) welcoming smile, her caring and kind nature helped our son to adapt the new environment quickly. Our son is happy and learn so much in here. He really adores Ms. Bushra. Ms. Bushra updates how our child's day went each day with smile and full attention . She is very enthusiastic and caring that any child needs to have as a teacher. We strongly recommend! Greatful parents!
