School should be for education, not to advance the agenda of the principal/superintendent. Don't have an opinion, or dare question his authority. The elementary teachers do a fine job, but the leader lacks the ability to take criticism of any kind. He is used to lazy parents who say "Yes, sir" and do not ask questions.

Burrton K Elementary School has a special integrated Kindergarton thru 2nd Grade program that is amazing. I highly reccommend it for anyone. After third grade, however, their standards fall off. The Junior High is sadly lacking. With few exceptions, I find the junior high teachers are apathetic concerning student performance, and give away grades when kids fall short. We are still here in Burrton, but are looking to move.
