The Preschool program at this school is one of the best I've have seen. The kids are engaged, excited and have a wonderful safe environment to learn and be supported. The school is always encouraging parents to participate in their kids learning with several events throughout the year. Very glad we were able to find a great public school that's super close and convenient.

Samuel Smith School has a community-centered atmosphere. The school's principal, Mrs. Dunham, is involved in classroom happenings and is always enthusiastic. She also works closely with the school's active PTA. In the school, there is a large population of preschool students and I believe that the curriculum, teachers, and school environment play an essential role in child development. The teachers are nurturing, patient, and provide a positive school learning environment, where both my children have thrived. At the elementary school level, the teachers are supportive and communicate student progress. Teachers provide engaging and differentiated lessons, offering support for struggling learners and enrichment for students needing more of a challenge. Overall, my experience with Samuel Smith has been nothing but positive.

Samuel Smith School has caring and quality teachers, an active and dedicated PTA, wonderful children who are well behaved and an outstanding principal, Mrs. Dunham. My son is learning so much at the school and is academically challenged every school day. The after care program staff does a wonderful job with the students. It is such a nicely diverse place too. I only have great things to say about the school.
