- Submitted by teacher on December 25, 2024Parents and potential employees need to be aware of what goes on in this school. So many amazing teachers have advocated for the rights of students who have academic and mental needs, and have had to leave due to administration. Administration at this school is struggling with providing students with the resources they need to succeed. When teachers asked admin to hire specialists and support staff for students with special needs, they chose to allocate their funds elsewhere. They are more worried about appearances than what actually helps the students. Many teachers left because of admins lack of care regarding students with SPED needs. Additionally, admin is not receptive or professional with their staff. Staff often feels talked down to, and treated as if they are worthless compared to administration. If this school is ever going to succeed, the executive director needs to either be replaced or have serious oversight by the board of trustees.
