    Hickory Ridge is a wonderful school! With Ms. Bavaro as our new principal the school has seen a tremendous change and growth. She truly cares about these children. The staff is amazing! Couldn't ask for a better elementary school for my son!

    My wife and I love this schoo, we moved to this school from another elementary in Brunswick. Principal Melvin does an outstanding job with the children and teachers and it shows. This school also has a great PTA and the school is involved with the community with fun civic events that involve students, teachers and parents. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great school!

    The negatives: This school has poor leadership through the principal, Mary Anne Melvin. She comes in late by at least an hour or two everyday and never leaves her office. Doesn't seem like a school full of kids is where she should be! The secretary is not very friendly. There are some great teachers but there is a lot of high school games that takes away from what teachers are there for, the kids. The positives: There are some great kids and involved parents.
