I love this school and so does my daughter. They really care about making sure she receives the highest level of education, and become the best possible version of herself.

I love how dedicated the teachers are and how well they communicate to keep the parents involved with how their child/children are doing academically. My child loves the after school programs that the school has.

My experience at PS 59 has been and continues to be a positive one. Each day the staff provides an enthusiastic and safe environment for growth and learning. The surrounding community is full of culture and exciting new projects. The classroom environment is very engaging and gives each student the greatest opportunity to succeed.

As an educator at this school, I enjoy working in a collaborative environment where teachers put students first! I have been in seven different schools throughout my tenure as a teacher and truly believe that this school supports all students! if you want a school that supports your child's needs, don't hesitate to reach out to PS 59 The Dawn Best School!

This is a terrific school! The administrators are top notch. The teachers are loving and hard working. The support staff is outstanding. And the students are the icing on the cake! I absolutely recommend this school to anyone in the neighborhood that wants a great education with tons of extracurricular opportunities.

This school has a long standing great reputation in my community. We love the curriculum, and the family outreach. We love the parent engagement opportunities like sweater making and the parenting journey. Children feel safe and love their teachers. This school really loves their kids.

I do not recommend this school my son was pushed by a teacher, locked out of class, and false allegations of assault were brought up against my child. This school is not for kids who have disabilities my son was wrongfully suspended instead of the school offering services. Please do not send your child here. The staff is assaulting children and lying on them to cover themselves and all the staff covers for one another. They do not listen to children complaints and allow bullying with no discipline. I fear for my child’s safety and I’m removing my child from this school it is not safe. I wish I can give 0 stars.

This school was on the new today. They let a 4 year old boy walk out if school by himself luckily he didn't get lost walking home with no coat on he was treated at a hospital and a report has been made to the commissioner of investigations. Always check schools side doors some are accessible to the public as well as the students.

The school has improved but still needs some extra activities for the children. That involves the parents & staff of the school
