Don’t send your kids to this school, because they treat your children differently ,double standards.Teachers don’t listen to your opinions and your requests and making their own rules.Just be aware of PS 52!

Worsest school in Brooklyn. Teachers don't care what is going on in the class, no homework whatsoever, very poor teacher- parent communication. No matter how hard I tried to make a connection with teacher all my attempts are failed. For 2 years that my son wasted at this school at the age of 7 he wasn't able to read, write or do basic math, I had to teach him myself every single day after school and see a very good outcome.

My son is in pre-k and remote learning. The teacher tries to do her best in teaching them and has homework everyday.

My son could READ at the age of 2 they didn't know until he left school that he was so smart. I had to give him additional homework and format the proper way for him to submit his homework. The kids were running all over in the 1st grade class, so bad my son was always scared he said my teachers yells all the time. I realized he was sitting behind the worst child in the class and was feeling the anger due to being behind the worst child. His writing, math, reading went significantly down. I am torn up because he experienced his first every form of racism, and colorism here. I am devastated I grew up in a culturally mixed environment I believed I was doing the right thing. My heart breaks knowing that he sat alone every day surrounded by people but alone. He was in the back of the class I made sure he was moved. People call my son a genius since he entered Pre K. I pray I can repair his broken ness. As a back male this is our life, as a mother it hurts I still cry. Thank GOD for success academy Bed Stuy 3 he is a PROUD leader learning chess, being challenged by work, doing science and even the lead in many school plays . I live 7 minutes from PS 52 in an apartment not a shelter or the projects. This community is not for US at all.

Great teachers and small class size which is good for learning

My son is finishing up Pre-K this year and I am very happy with this school! The new principal is amazing! He's only been here for 3 years and now the school has air conditioning in each classroom, smartboards, computers, as well as at least 10 IPads per class. This school offers many subjects above the basic common core (Ex: are, music, theater, and my son has gym time daily) and most of the teachers in this school have a master’s degree (for me it is important). This school is very clean and well maintained. Our teachers (Ms. Beach, Ms. Alica and Ms. Cece) are all wonderful. Parent Coordinator truly goes out of her way to help, which is so important since this is my first year dealing with the public school system.

this school used to be 1 of best till they got young new principle, and since then it us going down. they have worest staff, they come up with new role every day, no body knows what they r doing. i have 2 admit that it has great teachers, but assistant principle and rest all need 2 b replaced
