My son is in the 10th grade now. Im very dissapointed in the school. Teachers dont teach, most staff are very angry people, according to my son. The principal is extremely rude and dont show any respect. She sets the tone for her staff. She needs to be replaced.

0/10. Many girls are coming forward with their allegations to being assaulted. This school has been deleting comments about it on their Instagram page. The principal wants the school to look good so they do nothing about these issues.

my school is the most common high school. It has many activities and clubs so I was able to find myself in swimming, science research and Key Club. the teachers are nice, sometimes i think even to nice they will do whatever is possible in order for a student to learn. I am currently a sophmore and got in to this school not with a lot of enjoyment, however now i really love it. The school is divided into houses which help you find your major. It also offers programs that will help you get ready for the fututre. The only problem is that the guidance counselor are not very active in students lives. It also is very safe , seriously sometimes annoyingly safe. We go through scanning evry single day.

Hey I'm currently a senior in this school and at first I didn't like it but ,later on I loved it, the bio med and law house has probably the most smartest kids in it and they are very motivated and bright. Like other schools, there are bad kids and good kids but everyone here fits in. The computer sci and finance programs give great paying internships and they help you build resumes and career paths! The AP teachers are amazing and they really care about the class! Joining clubs and sport teams is very imperative to succeed! There's a lot of kids who get into great colleges like SUNYs and CUNYs like stony brook or Brooklyn college or hunter however obviously if you slack off you will end up in a community college! Just earn your way through honors and AP classes and you will do great!

James Madison is a public high school that is very diverse and offers students a great opportunity to gain exposure to people from many different cultural backgrounds. One of the key things I have always valued and taken away from attending Madison, was this very opportunity; I learned and interacted with students from cultures that I had previously never come across in such a way. I am happy to see Madison still offers this rich experience. The teaching faculty at Madison were extremely dedicated and pushed students to strive for their highest potential. In my own situation, I was one Regents test away from earning a Regents Diploma. Although I had no further requirements to qualify for my regular high school diploma, my guidance counselor pushed me to study on my own and take the Earth Science regents test in my senior year. I passed and earned a Regents High School diploma. Apart from that, Madison offers many different opportunities in it's academic and athletics programs. I am grateful that I attended Madison High School and happy to see that the school still offers many of the rewarding experiences that I had a chance to benefit from.

Teachers and classes offered are good, people and environment is terrible however. I would suggest this school to those who are athletic because it offers a variety of different sport activities and teams. I personally don't like this school but must admit the classes are very educationally developed

I went to James Madison High for 2 years and I must admit that unlike some other schools, the teachers really do care about the students; Sometimes I even think they care a little too much! I had an okay experience. There's a lot of great classes to take also! That's one thing I loved about this school. So many clubs to join.
