I am impressed by the staffs commitment to the students. The Study Hall on Tuesdays and Thursday has assisted my son with homework and tutoring. It is a uniformed school and the classes are separted in gender to promote structure and diminish distractions in the classroom. The school is secured, you must fing a doorbell and be identified to enter the build. During a month in the summer the students attend mandatory summer enrichment at the University of Connecticut, where they recieve academic instruction and recreational activities. The class ratio during the year are 1:12 which is below the national averages. Principal Chap is available by phone and email and he values your concern and HE WILL RETURN YOUR CALL, not his secretary or one of his staff. I've visited schools where the staff act as if your questions are an imposition upon their day, however the office staff here is courteous, friendly and helpful. The PTA is actively involved in fundraising and grant proposals to fund the schools endeavors. If you are considering a space where your child can achieve academically with christians values in an small classroom setting, then please call and schedule a tour.

This is one of the best Jesuit schools in NYC. I could not be luckier than finding this school for my daugther. Principal is awsome! Teachers are great and well prepared. Class size is small , students are separated by gender. What is so impressive is that students are interacting so well like family, they so lovely and well behaved. Discipline comes first! This school offers support to students at all times and even thru college. I love BJP!

This is school is one of Brooklyn's Best Kept Secret. My daughter is a 7th Grader. The Teachers do excellent work and challenges these kids to excel in all areas. The class size is small and I like how the kids are allowed to mentor and support each other.
