The Lawrence community has exceeded our expectations, and we have found our children in a highly supportive and enthusiastic learning environment.

Compared to other Brookline schools Lawrence is below average. This school does not offer school lunches for Kindergartners, and their programs (EDP and after-school activities) offer very small number of spots. We have friends in three other Brookline schools and they appear to have way more resources than Lawrence. in addition after-school activities do not pickup K grade after school - guardians have to do that - unless one *won* a spot at EDP. We understand that there have to be some compromises made (lunches, etc) due to large number of students, however low number of after-school activities points to poor planning we think.

Lawrence is a great school with a diverse student body, excellent academics, committed parents, and supportive teachers who are passionate about their work and strive to bring out the best in each student. The school's excellent facilities and grounds, coupled with its numerous extracurricular activities and PTO events, give students every opportunity to make the most of their academic experience.
