Students that have learning challenges aren't helped. They need better help inside the regular classroom for these wonderful students. No student should fall behind, learning difficulties or not.

An absolutely wonderful school. All of the teachers are kind and willing to help - the kind that will go out of the way to make sure you understand, and that you'll meet years down the road and they'll still remember your name. The principal is the best and really cares about each and every child personally. It is not 'drug-infested' as people apparently make it out to be. There are so many options for academics (easy and challenging) and sports and other extracurriculars that every student can find his or her niche. The band group is exceptional, the theater group is passionate, the art group always seems to be having a blast, and our sport groups may not be the best but we always have fun doing it. Definitely had the best years of my life in this school.

Definitely a great school. I went here as a freshman, and I loved it. The teachers were great and cared, and the academics didn't suck, meaning that they were good. Athletics could be better, but being a band geek I didn't care. The marching band program was/is exceptional. If you're weighing your options, I highly recommend this school.

This school has it's ups and downs. It is highly drug infested. They offer good classes and the teachers really do care. There are a small amount of students that attend this school and the athletics absolutely suck. There really aren't any cliques and there are never fights.
