HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL! The staff of teachers is one of the best (if not the best) in the area. The care and attention they give to my sons by far exceeds any of my expectations. And if that wasn’t enough, my children love it just as much!

We are in the middle of the school year and I must say I am pleased with Holy Rosary School and plan to keep my children here for the remainder of their educational career. They provide a nurturing, loving and safe environment on a daily basis. They provide many opportunities for family engagement and they are very professional. I highly recommend this school.

I will never send my child to this school EVER AGAIN, the teachers would always pick on her for no reason. I once saw a staff pull a little girl's arm I’m glad the parent found out and yelled at that staff. Charter schools are much better don’t waste your money on this Unholy Thorn School.

This school has a great prek program but no trips and not a lot of family involvement. Other than that, I have no complaints. My child's prek teacher was the best, handled my concerns and was willing to go above and beyond for my child which I appreciated.

As a working parent I truly appreciate the fact the School has early drop off. Even though my son has breakfast at home he can go into the school yard where there is supervision starting at 7 am. And on those nasty cold days they go inside the cafeteria. It gives me peace of mind.

My daughter just started Kindergarten at Holy Rosary and my experience has not been the greatest. First, orientation was in September and school starts in September so, I had no time to prep for school. It was no supply list, or uniform list. Whenever, I called her school their answer was always, "You'll get it at orientation." Second, I called profusely to find out her class size and again staff said, "You'll get it at orientation." Meanwhile, I received my tuition bill in August. Turns out it was 35 students in her class! This was kind of frustrated because I did not want her to be in a large class size but I already paid her tuition! (Hint: They get you early). Finally, and this is my BIGGEST issue with this school. It's 30/33degrees outside and the kids are standing out in the school yard until 7:45a. I'm a working parent and I have to drop my daughter off around 7:15a so for 30minutes she's standing outside freezing in her skirt. Aside from all of the above academic wise, I have no complaints. Her teacher and I have a great relationship. Unfortunately, this will be her first and last year attending this school.

I have several children who have and are still attending Holy Rosary School. They have all had the same teachers and each child was and has been treated as an individual. No comments like "your borther did this or your sister did that" the children who need the extra help or pat on the back got it and the ones who need the firm talk got it. Thank you

Holy Rosary School.....good school....good people. Don't change, never had an issue with any teacher or staff member. My child has done well there and I am sure he will continue to do well.

As a working parent I find Holy rosary School meets a lot of my needs. Early drop off, breakfast program, lunch program, after school with homework help, email alerts and reminders. I wish I could be more involved with the school my daughters both love it.

I can't believe this school year will be over in a few weeks. My child has been at Holy Rosary since 1st grade she is now in 4th and is doing great. This year has been a little harder but once again the teachers have been supportive. Looking forward to another successful year.

This school was a great school at one time. Now it is bad, really bad. My suggestion is to research the school, speak to parents ( and I don't mean the ones that hang around the school during the school day). The classes are overcrowded and the teaching style is very uncreative and old fashion for this day and age. my child is not returning. By the way, take the rating with a grain of salt, I wrote a detailed negative review and it was removed. I noticed a few other negative reviews were removed.

Holy Rosary is a great school. My boys have been students in the this school since 4th grade and Pre-K. The teachers as well as Adminitration have help my sons and are excellent and treat the children like members of their own family. We are members of the Home School Association which is part of Parent and Teacher dedication for the students. They also has after school activities as well as sports. We are so grateful and enjoy being part of Holy Rosary. God bless you.

The school was great and always stayed on top of me, especially when I didn't complete my work. As to Sister Mary's niece, the nuns on the top floor were kind and helped teach the students respect. Nobody was mistreated, even though some other students would call the teachers mean. Those students will grow up to be successful and prosperous.

I am very disappointed in some of the comments on this page. My daughter started this school in pre-k 4 years ago. She never had any incidence with any of the teachers. There is one child within her group that has been a trouble maker and he is still a trouble maker. I approached the father and he pretty much dismissed me. I believe children who are disruptive should be permanently expelled from the school. I read the review from a parent of the ECP program. To give a school a negative grade because your child was doing better in another school. It is best for you to remove your child. If your child was not doing anything wrong he/she would not have to be worried about getting into trouble. Last week an ECP child spat on another student belongings. When I spoke with him he ran. He was jumping into the rain water and kicking the cone in the court yard I told him to stop. I find that quite a few ECP students are disruptive and the teacher, the staff or the school should not be penalized for it. Parents cannot expect the teacher to discipline their children. It is the parents responsibility to discipline their children. Do not knock Holy Rosary until you tried it for yourself.

I was in Holy Rosary School from Pre-K to 8th grade. Few reviews here are correct when they say that some teachers are horrible, but some teachers are only bad if the students are as well. The only teacher that was here that was a horrible person was here in my last year of school. She was a teacher for 2nd grade to replace the one that left. I left the school so I don't know where she is, but you'd better put your hopes that she was fired. I'm not giving any names, but she cursed at the kids in after school, pushed a kid into a bench when he wouldn't cooperate, and yelled at everyone. Lots of teachers have there "favorites" in the classroom, but she hated every single student in this school. Don't stop your looking here, she was most likely fired and maybe arrested. Anyway the next thing is that the kids in a near school, M.S. 144, H-A-T-E Holy Rosary. They tormented 7th and 8th graders and broke a glass at holy rosary. Luckily, the principal reasoned with the principal at 144. So basically, everything that could go wrong at HR happened and has been resolved. I recommend Cardinal Spellman for high school, affordable and c-o-ed. :) So long reader!

Very great school. All my children go there. The teachers are excellent and treat the children like members of their own family. That is the way it should be because we (most parents and most of the teachers) are members of the Catholic Family. The Family that has civilized the world and continue to do great things for the world that loves to hate us Catholic. God bless you.
