    This school lacks leadership and discipline. This information is very misleading compared to the reality of the problems that go on in this school and bleed over to the high school. Our community is misled by paid for accolades posted on social media or ratings like this which are based on not providing the full picture. The administration covers up anything that can reflect poorly on them. I would home school before i sent another child through Brewton Middle School. Trainwreck!

    The faculty and staff of BMS care for their students and work hard to see them succeed. The teachers are knowledgeable about their subjects and do a good job. The school offers a full range of electives and sports, which are hard to come by in a rural system. We are also very excited about the new state-of-the-art building that will open this fall! In regard to the previous review: Several surrounding schools have uniforms and their children are not more organized or better behaved because of it.
