When my oldest child was first starting school we lived in Michigan. She went to 2 different schools there. First school was a public school. This school did not want to take the time to evaluate my daughters learning disability. Therefor she did not succeed in that school. Then I decided I needed to put her in a better school. So we went the route of a Charter school. Well I had no clue they did not want to take the time to evaluate her needs. The charter school was very advanced. So they said it would hurt the pupils around her if they went at her speed. So then I moved to Bowling Gren, Ohio. Thankfully I moved to the neighborhood of Crim Elementary. Her first day I explained to the staff what had happened in Michigan. All the staff went to work right away testing my daughter to see what all she needed in order to succeed. This was First grade. She is now going into Fourth grade, and I could not be more pleased! She no longer needs to be on an IEP and that is just amazing in itself. She loves going to school everyday and she loves to learn. Its all because of the amazing caring staff. From Principal to Janitor they all love and care about all the students attending this school. I owe a huge thank you to all who have cared for My oldest and now youngest who will be a first grader. Thank you so much for being the best staff ever!

Crim elementary would be worth paying money for. I have three children in this school and from the beginning I was willing to pull them out and pay for private school if necessary, but we have NEVER been disappointed. From the caring secretary that knows every single child, to the principal that has an ability to connect with both children and parents, and most importantly the teachers that make sure your children's needs are met. It is a bigger elementary in town, but the teachers are a team and the kids know they are loved. I have one child that has needed extra help academically and the staff are very quick to identify and help meet specific needs. Another child of mine excels in school, and the teachers help him enjoy school and avoid boredom. We are very thankful to live in the Crim school district.

We have had a wonderful experience at Crim and my family is saddened to leave behind all the friends we've made. (relocating for job) we have observed great communication between teachers, parents, and the principal. The children's needs are personally met and we greatly benefitted from some of the programs in place.
