We have been very happy with our experience at Boston Children's School so far. It is a warm, fun, calming, well-run/well-organized environment. This is an incredible option for your child, especially if they are going to school for the first time. Mrs Langer and the staff were truly wonderful with helping our son acclimate - they were so kind and patient with him, giving him true one-on-one attention on adapting. They kept us updated each day (throughout the day) on how he was doing, which was very reassuring for us. We also LOVE how the children of all the age groups interact/spend time with each other throughout the day (e.g. lunchtime, snacktime). It is so good for the younger kids to learn from/see how the older kids behave in a school setting. And the older kids are so wonderful with the younger ones, helping and teaching them!It is clear to us that BCS has been run, cared for, and beautifully managed since inception - and by the same director, Mrs Langer. She really is a gift to the students and their families. She is a seasoned educator, who develops a wholesome and highly inclusive curriculum that is focused on just that; the education and an environment for the children to flourish in. She makes it feel like one big family.Also to note, it's super easy to drop off if you will drive your child to school in front of 8 Whittier Place. There is a driveway in front of the building, away from traffic, etc.

Great school in the West End. The teachers/directors are really hands on and each child gets a lot of attention. We wish our kids joined sooner.

Amazing school for our toddlers. The teachers are so attentive, the director is amazing. They get an extremely high level of attention. The school program is very focused on education, manners, vocabulary, child development. Within a month we've seen such improvement in vocabulary, behavior and manners. We get a daily report on everything they are doing. So happy for our choice to take our kids to BCS. Highly recommend.

The personal attention that each child receives is wonderful and helpful to every child. The teachers design lessons around students’ readiness, interests and learning profiles. The director is an esteemed educator that truly cares about every child. In addition to the wonderful classroom teachers, the Boston Children’s School (BCS) supplemental teaching staff includes specialists in the areas of Music, Spanish and Gymnastics. The school is a warm, welcoming, inclusive and diverse community. My children loved celebrating so many different holidays and learning about many cultures. Graduates of the BCS are well prepared for elementary school and the alumni community is great!

Our son has just started his the first year at BCS and, in two months only, I am impressed by his general improvements (better manners and social behaviors, language and fine motor skills) that I can not feel bound to write this review. The teachers are all well trained, extremely friendly but professional at the same time. Special mention to the Director Mrs. Judy Langer who is a terrific leader and a North Star for all the parents and for each kid of which she knows the specific needs. Definitly a firm woman with a sweet smile and affable manners. Further, the good mix of students is well leveraged to teach kids the diversity from one to another. Overall the best investment of money we have done so far for our son!

Great school, leadership, teachers and program. Our son has been there for a year now and simply loves it. We are very happy with BCS and their dedication to the children is amazing. Highly recommended!
