Valley View has Teachers that truly care about students.

The teachers vary wildly at Valley View. You can have an outstandingly positive experience one year followed by a terribly negative experience the next year. It's a poorer district apparently and this manifestests itself in fewer resources to go around. Special needs kids aren't getting the support that they require. Para educators, for example, are stretched thin. Specialists are over burdened with high case loads. The bussing systems mixes elementary and middle school kids together - a recipe for disaster. Parent are very resistant to new people so its difficult to be a newcomer. The buildings are old and the infrastructure is lacking. We moved from a wealthier area where schools were very well-funded and the differences here are drastic.
