I've worked at Cole Valley Christian Schools for almost six years. I work in the administration/finance offices. My experience has been that the teachers and administration love the students and only want what's best for each of them. The staff love each other and are very respectful to everyone. They also love the students and love that they can guide them to a relationship with Jesus, if they don't know Him already. I've never been happier in a working environment as I have been at this school. I would highly recommend it for employment and/or for students looking for a great learning environment.

I not only have the privilege to pour academically and spiritually into the students that attend Cole Valley, but have also had the opportunity to have my own children attend here as well. My oldest son graduated a few years ago from Cole Valley and said that he not only felt academically prepared, but that CV also helped him to able to defend and share his faith in college!

We have loved the heart of Cole Valley in terms of living out the mission statement. The teachers truly love teaching kids from a Biblical worldview. Our son started at Cole Valley in kindergarten, graduated in 2023, and got into every college he applied to, including Hillsdale College with a 20% acceptance rate where he now attends. He was well prepared for college level work (all A’s and B’s so far). Our daughter had many options for colleges and received excellent academic and athletic scholarship offers from each of the schools she applied to. The staff and administrators are excellent. We have made so many great friends as a family - wonderful community.

I've had 4 students graduate from Cole Valley Christian. I was able to see tremendous care for each of them. They excelled in various capacities with the help of teachers, coaches and administration.

We’ve been part of the CVCS community for the past 12 years. Our son recently graduated from here and we have a Jr in HS. This school has been an amazing blessing for our family…teachers and staff that have poured into our kids, not only academically but spiritually too. After being a volunteer parent and member of the PTF board a few years, I got the opportunity to jump in and start working with this amazing team. Currently in my 9th year working here. Best place to work at!

Cole Valley Christian Schools has become a true home for our children's education. In today's challenging educational landscape, this school is a breath of fresh air. From the preschool staff to Superintendent Howlett, everyone exemplifies and lives out Christ's teachings. The school is incredibly welcoming, and they understand their vital role in helping families nurture and develop their children. Every staff member we've encountered shows genuine interest in putting students first. Unlike other schools where parents might be asked to take a back seat, the teachers here strive to form a true partnership with parents. They encourage involvement and maintain transparency throughout. While academic excellence is certainly a priority, the staff recognizes their role in helping students develop their faith and relationship with their heavenly Father. The school's leadership firmly believes that putting faith and God first is paramount. Our family wholeheartedly recommends Cole Valley Christian to anyone seeking not only a solid academic foundation for their children but also a supportive community that helps grow the next generation with strong Christian values and high moral and ethical standards.

My daughter has been at CVCS since kindergarten. Every year I have seen her faith and confidence grow. Much of this is due to the incredible teachers. What a gift to be at a school where partnership between teachers and parents is truly valued. We love Cole Valley Christian!

My son grew up in the public school environment until vandalism got so bad & he asked us for other options. We sought out Cole Valley because of students he knew there who loved actually going to school. On his day of checking it out, “shadowing,” he couldn’t stop thinking of getting to go there. He couldn’t believe that Mr. Cabral actually desired to talk to him & get to know him. He became one of several of his favorite teachers. Mrs. Bissell & Mrs. Gant were super cool & Miss Herring, although strict, actually prepared him for the real world. He graduated & is seeking his own faith journey, on his own, because of the impact the teachers had here in his last two years of high school. The teachers here are definitely a caring group of adults that shepherd our youth with a higher level of thinking. We will be forever thankful.

I've had 3 boys and 4 international students graduate from CVCS. The teachers continually came up with engaging and creative ways to teach concepts. The teachers took the time to know the students and years later still are available when my kids want to see them, ask for advice, or invite them to their significant life events. The councilors were available to brainstorm their college goals and help them prepare for and apply to their schools of choice. The school employs a safety officer to strategize the best way to prepare for any occasion to keep kids safe. And the SAS program is willing to help kids with brain balance things like disgraphia, working memory, dislexia, auditory challenges, etc... as well as simple academic tutoring. Many kids graduate out of their Student Academic Support program into the larger classroom each year. The partnership with each family is super important to CVCS as they tell us that the parent is the primary person responsible for their child's education and they just want to come alongside us to help prepare students for their future. The biblical integration into every topic is so helpful for kids in a world full of questions and no absolutes. Students are able to ask questions to arrive at a firm foundation should they choose to at CVCS. My boys still are prioritizing their faith years after graduating from Cole Valley. We couldn't be more grateful for the partnership during their school years.
