I am a Bishop Kelly Alumna, the parent of 4 Knights, and an employee of BK. My BK experience has been outstanding in every way. My four kids have excelled at Bishop Kelly academically, socially, and in their extra curricular clubs and athletic teams. Additionally each of them has been supported in their faith journey. My oldest just finished her sophomore year of college, and she has felt extremely well prepared for college as a result of her BK education. As an Alumknight I am proud to be part of this tight knight, welcoming community. I have had many opportunities to be part of and witness the BK community coming together to support a friend or family, and to celebrate the success of the school and students. And as an employee I can say that it has been the BEST place to work. I have been empowered to be successful at BK, and supported both professionally and personally by my amazing colleagues. If you're thinking about sending your kids here, you won't regret it. If you're thinking about joining our team, it is an amazing opportunity and we can't wait to meet you.

The leadership (or lack thereof) at this school needs improvement. Phone calls and emails go unanswered. It seems they do not value their "customers" (paying parents) or appreciate parental involvement which I would think a faith-based school would actually encourage!

Office staff is rude. A few of the teachers are okay, 2 stars.

My daughter is a St. Mark's alumnus. She chose not to attend Bishop Kelly and attends a different high school. However, she enjoys going to BK games to support the school and spend time with her old friends. Tonight she called me in tears, during the third quarter, to come and pick her up from the game. She was sitting with her St. Mark's friends in the student section and apparently, when a certain BK student found out that Lexie did not go to school there, she started screaming at my daughter to "GET OUT!!!". She kept on screaming at Lexie to the point that half of the student section was all SCREAMING at my daughter to leave. This girl did not know who my daughter was, only that she is not a student of BK. When my daughter became so mortified that she began to walk out of the student section, most of the students there began to APPLAUD that she was leaving. So much for a CHRISTIAN environment. So much for the "SAFE and CARING" place you pretend to provide. I urge you to UPGRADE your teaching instruction on ethics, morality, Christianity and how to possess a basic moral compass!

Awful! 1 star.......I’d give it 0 stars, but it’s probably good that my child spent a year there only to learn how deal with difficult people...a good life lesson that not all schools and/ or organizations are equal. Learning that people can be actually be so ridiculously unreasonable, unfriendly, and cultish is a good eye opener. If you’re thinking that BK is a good school, think again!! Save your money and go to a public school......the schools in Boise are great.......we’ve since transferred to a public high school and couldn’t be happier with our experience and decision to leave BK!!!!

My child started as a freshman this year. Overall loves the teachers. Socially it is a different story . My child has never struggled with friendships. However bk is cliquey with a lot of entitled kids . The kids from the Catholic feeder schools are not open and welcoming of new people. Sports have not helped. Unless you are paying the head coach outside of school to be a part of their club team, don't expect your kid to get any attention. My child has spend most days being ignored by peers. This school appears to be more about networking and money then about character development and faith. It's a lot of money to pay for this experience.

Both my children currently attend Bishop Kelly, but before that they had been in public schools their entire lives. This is a GREAT school. The school emphasizes academics, sports, and community service, and is a faith-based school that educates the entire student--body, mind, and spirit. The kids are nice here. The parents are involved. There are high expectations at Bishop Kelly, from parents, teachers and faculty, and though my kids occasionally complain about the dress code and closed campus, they have both thrived at this school, both academically and socially. Great college prep school, great builder of character.

Bishop Kelly is a learning environment where the whole child can be embraced. Teachers, staff, and administrators are able to meet the needs of students academically, socially, emotionally, and most import...spiritually. Collaboration between home and school is strong which creates a community where everyone works together to meet the needs of the children.

Our children have all attended public school until they attended BK as freshmen. My children have thrived at BK. There are numerous activities for the students and parents to become involved. The school has a strong strategic plan and is striving to work towards their goals. My children have also participated in the school work study program which has provided them with valuable job skills. I recommend BK to any parent looking for a school that exudes pride, academics, spirituality, community service and personal growth for their student.

Bishop Kelly provides a high quality faith based education. They constantly seek to improve on an already excellent education system.

Bishop Kelly High School is the best high school in the Treasure Valley and one of the best in the Northwest. Our child loves school, her friends, and the faculty and staff. If you want your teen to feel like part of a real community with great values and opportunities, send them to Bishop Kelly. Great academics, wonderful, caring teachers and administrators, and fantastic parents. Worth every penny (and then some) of your investment of time and money. This is a place where your child will build relationships that will benefit them for life.
