Best School I have ever been to and the teachers and staff are amazing. Recommend going into the Portuguese program because it provides a great difference in language and culture. Brazilangia was one of the best memories I have ever had. Bring your kid here if you want him to progress in school and in life. The actual academic side of school here is amazing and helped. So parents bring your kid here if you want them to make great memories and also if you want to be included in your kid's school life they are very great at that as well. Vamos Brazil!

I’ve given Bluffdale a good chance. We went through shut down at this school. I was worried about my children’s education, but decided to keep giving it a chance. 2nd grade teacher kept embarrassing my child in front of the class. Name calling my child and others. The teacher denied it to the principal when I went to the school for help. I should have pulled my child. But I was scared she wouldn’t get an education, so we stayed. Name calling continued. Telling the kids they were babies. Or still a “kinder” (kindergartener) I encouraged other mothers to call the school when this teacher told their kids that they were “not smart” but nothing was ever done about it. Different teacher taught my child in second grade that Santa wasn’t real. Talked about gender identity. And asked us to feed our children packing peanuts as part of an assignment. Teacher couldn’t ever explain why though. The kids were also taught that the letter W makes a “who” sound. I called the school sent so many emails to the district that year. It was silly. My child’s confidence was shot after that. The next year, I saw improvement in confidence. But not too much else. I went to the teachers for help a few times, but just felt like I was bothering them from the reactions I got. The next school year really started to make me nervous. My child came home with a bunch of work to do at home. The only thing I could figure that was being taught during class time was a podcast called 6 min. The kids were asked questions and tested on this podcast. I listened to it once, and I do not understand what the educational value was. Sure it was fun, but no other learning was happening during class time.

We love this school! The teachers have been great. The principal handles bullying situations appropriately. The PTA is fantastic. It’s safe. It’s clean. It’s a great school!

Awful, worst school by far and the teachers and faculty must have their heads in the dirt.

The classes are way too big. So if your child is average, they won't receive attention. This is our 3rd school and this has been far the worst. Even the front desk doesn't really know hats going on. I think they are just over capacitated.

I had two children go through this school and never had a problem. The teachers are wonderful and they all spend so much time with the kids.

Is funny how this five starts are coming from workers at that school. But for far is the worst school in Utah , the principal is the most aregan , that don't deserve the job tile of principal , what I know a principal is the one that runs the school for the poupose of the best learning sperience to a child , well not her in half France half Latino and some how she send me to court two times and now child crevice .not ones gas she call or visit my home as , regular principal will ,I don't get mail that's the past. She needs to upgrade there's phones or emails but not her .lets the computer do her job , omg the worst mistake to send my kids to the wors school in Utah I have no choice ,

I'm not sure where these other rating are coming from... perhaps sore grapes? I can tell you that my experience has been fantastic. The programs this school has implemented are wonderful for educational, social, and artistic development. The principal is accessible, understanding, and involved. Every teacher I've been in contact with has been kind, concerned, and hard working. My kids have bloomed while at this school and we have the staff at this wonderful school to thank!

I attended this school from kindergarten to sixth grade, and absolutely loved it. The average age of the teachers seems to have gone down since I've left; when I went there, most teachers had been teaching there for years already. My family never had a difficult time with the faculty or staff, who I believed to be very friendly. The principal was always good as well, and we actually only had one change in the position during the seven years that I attended.

Our experience at Bluffdale Elementary has been exceptional. As a huge believer in education...I have 3 degrees of my own. With this, I'm thrilled with the help and support that the teachers and administration of this school has provided my kids. This isn't to say that everything has always been perfect...there has been a couple teachers that were a bit difficult, but as a parent should, I filled in and supported where I thought there were shortcomings. Face it...life isn't always rosy. However, on the bright side, my kids had to learn to deal with this difficulty which in turn gives them a better realization of life. This is the last year of attendance for my youngest. He is very well prepared to move forward. Specifics? The school has some excellent teachers and an outstanding Principal. While the classes didn't always challenge my kids, we worked with the teachers to make things more challenging.

Surprisingly one of the worst schools in JSD. So many new teachers each year who end-up moving on. Class sizes are small but test scores here are some of the lowest. It seems like a lot of the parents around here are busy headed to the gym or with new babies to give the new teachers the support needed to educate kids
