- Submitted by parent on April 09, 2014If you know the right people, you will have a wonderful experience in this school. If you are from out of town and did not grow up in the community, then you will not receive the same treatment. Your child will be treated differently, which is not okay. They claim "zero tolerance", but that only applies to certain students. If you are not from Blacksburg, you should go "across the river".

Even tho it may seem at sometimes that they hate you they dont. Im in 7th grade there, im in band, and cheerleader, an lso a member of the girls basketball team an playin softball andvolleyball
