  Maranathan Academy is a great school, for young and older adults. With that, it gives everyone another opportunity to get an education. In the past, I wanted to give up on obtaining my education. However Maranathan Academy encouraged and motivated me to finally receive my high school diploma. Completing this program makes me feel like I can accomplish the world. ...More Reviews

  I volunteer at Maranathan Academy where I teach etiquette skills and Bible Study. You cannot compare this school to any other because it is not for typical students. Maranathan is a place for critically at risk children who have lives either filled with tragedy, lack of support, problems at local public schools, the list goes on and on. Many have been bullied and beaten in the public school system and some come out of lock-up or off the streets.But Donna Dukes takes them in, loves and disciplines them while teaching the way to a brighter future. Many go on to college and some to trade school, but where these children once had no hope, at Maranathan they find Christ and a future. Before making a judgment about the school I strongly advise you to go see for yourself all the positive things Maranathan is doing in the lives of critically at risk children. ...More Reviews
