Overall, I believe that the teachers and staff at this school are great people. However, there are some challenges that create barriers to student success. For instance, no homework is assigned, and Google Classroom is the primary tool used for communication. As a parent, I feel that I cannot be as involved in my child's education as I would like, because we are not provided with detailed information about what they are learning or covering in school. We can only get a very general idea by checking Google Classroom. Additionally, textbooks are not brought home, and the updates and information on the parent portal are inconsistent depending on the staff member. I also do not see enough flexibility and accommodations being made for students with 504s and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Although there are attempts made for these students, it seems like there is a lack of understanding or support for the conditions for which the 504s and IEPs are established. I would not expect experts on specific conditions, but some fundamental barriers that come with learning disabilities and executive dysfunction seem to be viewed as annoyance and defiance. With multiple children who have attended this school, it was most heartbreaking watching my child with executive dysfunction struggle emotionally and academically here. From many other parents I have spoken to regarding 504s and IEPs, the general consensus is that public schools handle and enforce them much more consistently when compared to charter and private schools.

This is the worst school I have ever been affiliated with. This teacher had three students in her class. She still wasn't able to move my child academically. When I came to the school, she would always be sitting at her desk while the students were at their desk doing busy work. I am an educator. I would love to be able to teach in a small setting where I can give individualized assistance to each of my students. She had this and did nothing. I couldn't wait to pull my child out. He was only at his current (public) school for 1 month and I noticed a change. He was actually more focused, engaged and motivated to learn. Remember it is not always the school..... it is the teacher that makes the difference.

I have two children at this school, and my oldest son has been there for 3 years. The teachers at this school care about learning and teaching the principles of Christ. My oldest son was reading by the time he left Pre-K and he was writing his name in cursive. I am an educator, and I believe that other schools would prosper if they followed the model that is offered at ICA. It is a place where all children (especially children of color) feel smart, feel important, and most importantly...loved! If you are interested in watching your child bloom into a well-rounded, SMART, and confident child, send them to this school!

My three children attended this school for several years until my oldest son had to move due to moving to the 7th grade. When they attended their new school they were very well prepared and ahead in several subjects. Integrity has a very rigorous curriculum and the faculty and staff take learning very seriously. It is also very affordable and the children wear uniforms which can also save money. If you want your child in a loving in environment where there is structure and discipline in place, I would highly recommend Integrity Christian Academy.

This is a horrible school the teacher's do not care and will not help the kids who need help. They are detached and it is impossible to speak to the principal about the staff she is too busy to talk to the parents that are paying for their kids to go there. How messed up is that I have never met a teacher that was so bad and could careless like the teachers that they have that could make 3 kids withdraw within a two week time and the principal still not do anything. Please do not send your child her your child is only a dollar sign they could careless if the kids succeed or not.

My daughter attended this school last year and the Abeka Curriculum along with the Bible teachings were good, but if you ever have a problem and want to discuss your child's progress with someone other than the teacher, you may be out of luck. The principal was not easily accesible when there was a problem. In fact, I felt abandoned when I wanted to discuss the problems I had with my child's teacher. For this to be a private school, you would think they cared more and had anyone you needed there to listen to you if there was a concern, but that was not the case in my situation. Before you send your child there, make sure you ask another parent their opinion of the school to make sure this is the best private school for your child. I wish I had. Although, no school is perfect, you want to be able to communicate with someone on the staff if a problem arises.
