overall, great experience with the teachers, principal and office staff.

My experience of this school is great! The staff is friendly, and they are there for the children. When my child is at school I have a peace of mind, becuase I know she is safe, learning, and not being overlooked. Who this person is that gave this negative comment, maybe this wasn't for you and you must want someone who is going to run up behind you. No! Not wjen they have other students and parents, sit down and be humble!

I have interacted with a staff member in the main office of Ephesus Academy, and she was rude. I called on more than one occasion to voice a concern to the administrator but he/she was never available. If this is the treatment I received as a member of the community, I am sure the children and parents are treated with the same disrespect or worse.

I had a really high opinion of this school when I first found it, unfortunately it's taken a turn for the worse. My children began going there in January and everything was fine, but then the volume of students grew exponentially in about a month's time due to their acceptance of the new Alabama Scholarship Fund and that's when it became like other "hood" schools. My children have informed me that some of the new students are disrespectful to the teachers. There is no order when I pick them up in the afternoon. The kids curse and talk back. My son says it's hard for him to learn because there is so much commotion in the classroom and the teachers can't seem to handle them. They don't want to go back next year and they won't. It's a shame to see this good school go down like this. But it's not surprising because those in leadership actively sought to get as many students to their school as possible through the scholarship fund. In turn though it has cost them the quality of their school and the learning environment of the students that want to learn. Hopefully they can turn things around, but my children won't be there to see it.
