Administration at this school is a joke, treated my child with a neurological disability as more of a problem than a person. Cares more about repuation than students, especially if they are a non standard student that doesnt fit their norm. Though I will say there is some wonderful teachers and special education teachers at this school.

Chenango Forks is a smaller community that cares about each student. They offer lots of community events, and the teaching staff are all integrated into events and show the kids their dedication beyond just test scores. We have been happy with the range of offerings, from sports to music and arts, and have been pleased with the commitment to academic success. Additionally, our experience with 504 planning and support has been positive as well.

I absolutely love this school district. I work in a neighboring school district, but my kids attend CFE, and I am always impressed with the things they do and how they run things. My children absolutely love attending CFE and I am so glad we live in district and are a part of the community!

Great school kids are safe very proactive school always ahead of schools in the area with technology and one on one student development. Don’t know why this rating is low. Other sights are 7 or above.

I feel this school is a great fit for my kid. This year has been tough but his teacher has been amazing. She has made sure that we all are doing well and helping us support our child both in school and at home. All the staff I have encountered have been nothing but sweet, caring, helpful and generous. Yes of course there are a few staff members who are not as positive as others and can be heard talking negatively about their students as well as administration. That is unprofessional but there are always a few in every district. Overall I am thrilled that my children are attending this elementary school and cannot wait to watch them grow!

The school is good if you are part of the "mean mom" group, but other than that its just another school. The staff at levels above teachers is something that should be changed/addressed for their lack of professionalism when it comes to children who have separated parents. Asking one parent not to bring their significant other to parent teacher conferences because the student isn't their child is unacceptable. This has left a sour taste and the desire to look into other schools.

Overcrowded classrooms and teachers and administrators who seem to think that all kids need to fit their cookie cutter model of learning. Sub par academics and the curriculum was not challenging at all for my daughter, this resulted in a very bored kid. There is a big focus on anti-bullying in the form or rallies and educational material but not much enforcement and kids who are bullied are told not to be "tattletales" when they seek out help. We ended up pulling out to homeschool until we can move to a better district.
