We had a terrible experience at Arrowhead. There are some incredible teachers, but there are also teachers that follow uniforn to the principal that does nothing about bullying. We truly believe she is the worst principal you could ask for if there are any issues. If your child has no issues with other students, or in general, you child will do just fine at this school. Otherwise, if your child is bullied, be prepared for nothing to be done and your child to be punished as well. (Or told you can find another school if you don't like what she is doing, as this is what she has told different students/families) Or if your child is left out, it will not be a big deal as well. Be prepared to be treated poorly and for what's happening to your child to be disregarded. Bullies are rewarded and can get away with so much. As the kids get older here, the kids that are disrespectful run the school. Even on the playground in how they are allowed to talk to the staff with no consequences. And if you file any complains about any staff putting a child's safety in jeopardy, this will be put aside as well. Very disappointed in the leadership of the staff at this school. Especially for the teachers we have had there that are extraordinary, because that's not enough to ever want to send another child to this school. We are not the first to experience the above, and I am sure until the principal leaves, we are not the last. The emotional damage my child endured here and the anxiety to proceed into the following years in not ok and disheartening.

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with our children. We moved to Billings from out of state and our oldest had no trouble jumping right in. The kids and teachers were so welcoming and helpful! I am very grateful that my kids have grown up in such a nurturing and welcoming elementary school where they feel safe and cared for.

I really agree with the first review from 2010. Education wise things are going well. However, it hasn't gone well with friends. Generally, kids and parents seem to be very exclusive. Most of my attempts with my kids' friends' parents have gone nowhere. My kids usually say that the other kids already have their best friends and are often not allowed to play with them. I feel bad for my kids that making friends at this school is so difficult.

I have found the educators to be exemplary and have found that there is a wonderful community of parents.

This is an exemplary school. My son has made outstanding progress with the help of the wonderful staff at Arrowhead Elementary.

The school is okay. We were new and transferred in from another state. We did not receive much help and my child struggled and it was frustrating. It got better but only because we complained loudly. The town is nice, but we've been here over a year and feel like outsiders. All the people here grew up here, their kids grew up here, and as someone who didn't, adjustment to this school and community is very very hard
