Ive nearly graduated from Beverly High School and I've begun to realize many things. The most important of things I've learned is these teachers love their job. Beverly High School as a concept is a great school, but in practice this school is a disaster. With teachers constantly being cut to make more room in a budget this school is understaffed, and teachers, paras, and substitutes are overworked and underpaid. Not only are teachers underpaid, but as a “diverse” school many students are racist, homophobic, and almost everyone i know HATES school. I urge you to look at surrounding schools as the fate of your child graduating is slim to none at Beverly High School.

There were a many fight last year. you could talk to staff about being bully and discrimination most staff don't do must about the situation until it becomes a fight between the students. Some teachers are not always helpful and may cause they issues between theirs student. Sports are more fond towards male sport then females sport. The boys get better thing then the girls in the sports department. Most of the guidance counselor are not the best but there are 3 other that are amazing with their students. there other teacher that are welling to work and push there student to the best potential and will take there time to work with the students. this teacher also will help the student if being bullied or discrimination. There Special Education is very helpful .

My son is a sophomore and has had nothing but a great learning experience with very involved and competent teachers. Even through the pandemic, I've been happy with the instruction he has received. He has grown up through the Beverly school system. He has participated in band since they started offering it in 5th grade. He has a deep love of learning and a curious, creative mind. School, no matter where you go, is what you make it. You get out what you put in. I'm glad he is experiencing his high school years here.

My daughter ....this is her first year and has been having a great high school experience at Beverly High School so far. The teachers quality and also the principal is great. Our family is very pleased with BHS. Honors and AP classes are offered, art, music, drama, clubs and sports teams. Great place to learn, BHS.

My child is in the second semester of his Sophomore year and has been having a great high school experience at Beverly High School. So far he has received a very well rounded educational experience for the college bound student. Teachers are accessible and responsive to parents; broad course selection; many offerings for extra curricular activities to meet most interests of engaged students - art, music, drama, clubs and sports teams. State of the art building with a focus on creating a small learning community within the larger high school setting.

Like one of the other posters mentioned, BHS is what you make it and how the student applies themselves. My daughter is a senior now and it's shocking to me that seniors are let out right before noon so the school saves money. I am concerned that that BHS doesn't properly prepare the student for college and worry about the transition in the Fall. Nice facility and a caring principal but at times it feels like its a country club and lacking in rigor. Applying for college with her guidance counselor fell short too in what we expected as they seem to lack a sense of urgency in sending out the documentation to schools and in using a proper student resume format.
