The staff at BES goes above and beyond what is expected to provide a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students to safely participate. The teachers and staff at BES care about their students on a personal level. Like any school it has its issues, but the team continues to work on ways to grow and it shows.Last year they won a state award for excellence in education. It was well deserved. I am happy to be a parent in this community.

There are a few teachers in this school that are decent and try to do the right thing, but this school needs to work on fairness for all kids.

Shelly Roberts is, by far, the worst principal I've ever experienced. My 3 young girls have been routinely bullied during our time at BES and Shelly completely ignores it (SOAR? HA. Yeah, right). Her only concern is trying to raise money for a playground and to help pay for her parking lot. The best thing that could happen for this school and its future is for her to go. She's totally useless. Sadly, there are no other schools in the area to enroll our children so we’re stuck with this joke of a principal.

Strong leadership. Caring teachers. Inclusive culture. My own children will soon go here.

Terrible leadership. The majority of teachers are unskilled. It has gotten worse and worse each and every year.

They're very attentive to my children's needs and education. Their creativity has always been celebrated. I mean there was an incident where the lunch lady told my kids they couldn't use their chopsticks for lunch, being that my kids are Asian/Hawaiian chopsticks are utensils that they use often at home. But the teachers were very communitive and kind and patient. Really I know my kids will never get to go to another school like Bethlehem. As a parent I appreciated this school so much and so did my children.
