As a foreign family, we must say that Willowbrook matched all our expectations: Education, inclusion, and support. The teachers are seasoned and approachable; the ESL Program is fantastic and can be extended according to family interest and availability. There are plenty of opportunities for parents and community engagement, and the staff is helpful and precise; finally, the principal, Mrs. Hamilton, goes above and beyond to keep the school a great place... she is present day by day, keeping the bar high.

Willowbrook is a gold star school. Each member of the staff cares deeply and is engaged unmatched by any other schools we've experienced. Three years in, my little one grows in academic, emotional, and social excellence each year. The school is clean, safe, welcoming, and fun. Parents are treated with the utmost respect and encouraged to engage. Teachers are responsive and open to communication. We wouldn't trade our Willowbrook experience for anything.

Willowbrook Elementary is leading the way to Project Based Learning! Ten of the 34 classroom teachers are recipients of 21st Century grants and more teachers plan to write grants this school year. Giving students the opportunity to have voice in their own learning is a primary focus at Willowbrook. We have a wonderful Parent Teacher Organization which supports our efforts financially as well as through volunteering. Our parents and community are also a big part of our Project Based Learning activities through sharing their expertise and support by being part of the many exciting projects throughout the building. Willowbrook currently has 843 students, grades Kindergarten through 4th with 34 classroom teachers. There are approximately 75 staff members. Our mascot is the Elephants because they have a strong sense of family and they work very hard - just like our students and staff at Willowbrook!
