I have never seen a worse excuse for a school in my life. Kids are constantly bullied, and nothing is ever done about it. I can't even say a fifth of what needs to be said here because my post will just get deleted again, but it is the truth. My children are home schooled this year, and now we are moving just to get out of this district. NEVER AGAIN, DON'T DO IT. Not even if you find a house that is nice and cheap in the area. My husband week have a 2 hour committee each day to get into a worthwhile school for our children, but after or one year experience here, he considers it worth it. What a nightmare.

This school is extremely horrible. They allow the bullying of students and punish those who are being bullied. Some of teachers pretend to care about the students when speaking to parents, but in actuality are more to blame for their attitudes. I've spoken to 3 parents so far whose children have been bullied, and after they defended themselves were punished. Do not send your children to this school if you do not plan to receive a phone call for mediocre write ups. Case in point my son got written up by a teacher after raising his hand to ask to use the bathroom because he could not hold it anymore while she was teaching. It is teachers and staff such as these that give the few good teachers they do have a VERY bad name. Ashbel Smith has now become garbage.

this is my child's first and LAST year attending kinder at Ashbel Smith. Most teachers are new, and very young. They are extreamly rude, and mean to the students. Asst principal, is very unprofessional, and also a kinder mother, which makes her child do as he pleases, and there is no discipline for him. I have an older son that attended this school a few years ago, and it was great then. (2004-2006) I really hope someone would look into this and make some possitive changes, if not, god bless these students.
