    Despite the current poor reviews of this school it is a safe and caring institution for students to attend.

    I recently graduated from this school and I am going to try to be as unbiased as I can in this review. Throughout the years I was here, male teachers would act perverse to female students with no consequences and when someone had threatened many at the school, the school threatened to punish the students who spoke out about it, calling us dramatic and trying to start problems. When the student who made the threat was arrested, the school turned around, acting like they listened to the students. Along with that, the school prioritizes sports over arts and cultural education. I've seen the school work on renovations in the football field but dump things like exercise machines and arcade machines in the auditorium. During that time, I was a member of the student council and informed staff about it but they never did anything about it. Overall, the school is more focused on money and sports rather than the enrichment and education of the students.

    It is the best school i go to. we have the best police. I like harlan county high school.
