On the 3rd day the bus driver dropped him off a mile+ from his scheduled bus stop in the middle of sex offenderville. When I called the school I got passed off to who knows how many people, finally ended up with an answering machine. When I voiced my concern, left my number and received ZERO calls back. My son says it's run like a prison and you can't learn anything due to all the fighting and yelling. There's absolutely no structure. No accountability. This school is the worst of the worst.

- Submitted by parent on August 11, 2015This school has been given a bad rep for awhile...Unfortunately to people who here things and just run with it......Capitol middle Magnet has a Principal that was name Principal of the Year of all Middle schools....She has risen test scores every year in our community...Capitol since has grown and parents and community need to know that Capitol as of 2015-2016 has many components that will fit all students academic level. Capitol has the magnet component and Great Scholars academy which parallels the gifted program...There are many opportunities here that parents have for their children right here in the communities no need to travel outside district to charters or any other magnet/great scholars schools....Please do your research CMS is the place to be........
